Tony Dawson is exceptionally talented at UI Design and UI Art. I was constantly blown away by the things he came up with. Impeccable attention to detail and creativity and in my opinion everything he touches turns to gold. Truly one of the most talented artists I have had the pleasure to work with.  In addition to talent he is a pleasure to work with.

I would frequently be responsible for implementing Tony's designs and it was always a great experience. Tony is able to find that perfect balance of defending his vision and making sure things come out as they should while also being willing to compromise when necessary to accommodate technical constraints.

At the end of the day Tony is someone you NEED on your team.

Tony is one of the most talented designers I have ever met. At Marauder, he wore many hats. The graphics he created for marketing were beautiful and his web design was incredible. I personally had the pleasure of working closely with him on the UX/UI side of our game. He is so thoughtful in the design decisions he makes to not only make sure his designs are visually impressive, but also ensure that they are user-friendly and accomplishing the intended goals. He is a fantastic collaborator and is constantly pushing himself in his skills and abilities. Any team would be lucky to have him!

Tony would be an asset to any organization looking for a world-class UI/UX artist and designer. Tony does an exemplary job of working with product owners to fully understand the intended user behavior or emotional response, and translates that into thoughtful and thorough flows and wireframes for web-based applications, mobile platforms and games. As if that wasn't a valuable enough skill, he's also an incredible UI artist with keen creative instincts, an incredible eye for detail, an encyclopedic awareness of competitive products and - most importantly - a dogged work ethic and amazing attitude. Tony very deservedly won the 2023 'Employee of the Year' award at TruPlay; a true indication of his talent and skills, but also of how respected he is by his peers. Given the chance, I would not hesitate to have Tony be a part of any organization I was involved with.

Tony is THE best UI/UX designer I have ever worked with. The dude has impecable ability to read between the lines if requirements are lacking and outputs some seriously great work. When given detailed requirements, he goes above and beyond. He is dependable and consistent and always looking to grow and learn. He also loved building game components and has a great artistic style. He’s professional, diligent and just an all around great dude.
